Ripping out the old roof since it had collapsed.<\/a>All clean! But not very watertight!<\/a><\/p>\n Had some leftover beams from some building work so recycled them for the new roof.<\/a><\/p>\n Second beam in.<\/a><\/p>\n Starting with the rafters and patching up the walls since they were a little damaged when the roof collapsed.<\/a><\/p>\n Ridge board in.<\/a><\/p>\n More rafters.<\/a><\/p>\n Front rafters finished.<\/a><\/p>\n Rear section rafters in too.<\/a><\/p>\n Quick look inside showing the support for the ridge board.<\/a><\/p>\n Our neighbour had some leftover roofing felt which we used as an additional waterproof layer.<\/a><\/p>\n Batons attached and starting to place the slates.<\/a><\/p>\n View inside with roofing felt attached.<\/a><\/p>\n The row of outbuildings with the partially finished roof.<\/a><\/p>\n More slates on the front portion of the roof.<\/a><\/p>\n Getting there!<\/a><\/p>\n The clips are pretty much all in line, which is satisfying!<\/a><\/p>\n Front finished! The back is still only felted at this point, but the building was at least watertight.<\/a><\/p>\n
